Game consists of four eight-minute quarters. | |
|
Overtime is two minutes. | |
|
Three timeouts per game. One timeout added for overtime. | |
|
Running clock except the last minute of the first half, the last two minutes of the game, and overtime. | |
|
Each player must play at least four minutes per quarter during the first three quarters, a minimum of two minutes in the fourth quarter, and one minute in overtime. Timekeeper will stop clock as close as possible to the four-minute mark of each of the first three quarters, but will not stop clock in the fourth quarter. | |
|
Teams must play man-to-man defense. | |
|
No personal fouls. Each team is allowed seven team fouls per half. After the seventh team foul, one free throw worth two points is awarded. | |
|
Players fouled during the act of shooting a missed field goal will be awarded one point (or two points if 3-point field goal attempted) and one free throw worth one point. A foul on a successful field goal will awarded one free throw worth one point. | |
|
Pressing is allowed, unless the pressing team has a lead of twelve or more points. | |
|
During the last thirty seconds of game following a successful field goal and timeout, team calling timeout has choice to inbound at the baseline or half court (NBA Rule). | |
|
Any question or rule interpretation, including score/clock irregularities, will first be asked of the referee during a dead ball situation, next the gym monitor/supervisor. |
